Other than the video recorder flash bug, I am really happy with OS6.
If this is going be a big jump compared to the .810, I might go back to 5.0 where at least I can enjoy my themes.

I ran the OS6 222/246 for a while but went back to OS5 as the home screen layout and lack of themes was annoying. Going to try this latest update and see how it goes.

Well i downloaded multiple times and deleted all other os's from laptop and could never load o'well maybe ill try later on.

1. Did you delete the Vendor.xml from the folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

2. Did you make sure your Blackberry Desktop Manager is NOT running

3. Did you click then the file called Loader.exe in the same folder above: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

Well, I'm probably the first to admit that I downgraded from os6 to os5. I was missing my themes, shortcut keys on home screen, some apps. This build runs pretty smooth, definitely not as smooth as os6. The battery life remains to be seem.

Try to rename:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In
Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9650AllLang_v5.0.0.975_P4.2.0.424

to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9650AMEA_v6.0.0.222_P4.4.0.147

and hit the loader again and see if that works.

install on my Sprint 9650 seems to be functioning great -- so far no Media Card Error Message, seems to boost overall performance of device, boot up time also seemed a but snappier -- anyone else notice this?

Yes, boot up time seems a bit faster for me as well; although there is a lot of data transfer going on right now so there is some general lagginess. I can't make a judgment at this point. I will report back in a few hours to let you know more.

I can tell you I used BB Hybrid Tools to shrink the 115 MB down to 47 before I used App loader...

i downgraded back to .732 as well. 6.0 is intriguing but several applications were not working and my phone would not ring either. i want to try .975 but have not gotten around to it yet.

Try .975 when you get a chance. You won't be disappointed. It has a lot going for it. I am happy with the upgrade over 732. And as a person who experienced chirping during phone calls, I have had none of that with this upgrade. Yay!

For some reason the enhanced gmail plugin does not work. It says that I have an earlier version when it's not installed on the phone. DO we have any ideas how to install it?

Just downgraded from 6 OS and i must say this OS is faaassssstttt. Dont get me wrong 6 OS is amazing but its just too slow for me. My dream OS would be the speed of .975 in the OS 6 build!

Besides, the 9650 is getting some official 6 OS love this month anyway!

I appologize if this is the wrong place to put this but this is the first time this has happened to me. Everytime I download this the DM 6.0 can not find it. I vaguely remember reading something about this when it happens but can not find it now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the DM locate the update when i attach my phone? Thanks.
