Blackberry Application - Email Problem

hi , I am new to blackberry Apps development. I am using bundled eJDE 4.5 . Now i want send & receive mail from my simulator.

I tried to start to start ESS by directly clicking load.bat and i chose connected mode and gave necessary details . but i am unable to send mail

QUest 1: Any other way to start ESS when MDS is running?
Quest 2: Any other configuration needed to send and recieve mails to my simulator.

Please Help me ..to solve this problem .
