if you got to blackberryfaq and go to the download page they have a link to the german vodafone page its relatively easy to fathom out even if you dont speak German which I dont but I expect someone who can post links will be putting up shortly!

    Here we go: xttp://www.vodafone.de/hilfe-support/blackberry/138365_139026.html

Just replace the "x" in the link. If you have any translation questions, just go ahead
I'm going to install it this evening when i'm finished with my work here.

    Greetings from germany...

If you do decide to install unofficial software and it's from a carrier that isn't your own, you should be sure to ditch the software's vendor XML file before beginning installation. To do so, open your PC's Program Files > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader and then delete the Vendor file, which is in XML format. If you don't delete the other vendor's file, the software won't be able to install the software on your carrier-locked device.

i tried this update this morning, either i was doing something wrong or it doesn't work with verizon for some reason.
i ran the .exe to install the update to my PC. then deleted vendor.xml then ran desktop manager. update didn't show up. then i did it again with out deleting vendor.xml and it still didn't show up. anyone else get it to work?
i wish these flipping things came with a change log!

i actually just realized they have the 9500, i'm sure i'll look like such an *****!

Lol. The update is for the 9500 not the 9530. Just like .75 wouldn't work for the 9500.

is anyone running .78 on their 9500? Is there a pending release for the 9530 as well?

German is my native language... It says the update is only for Vodafon users and a bunch of lectures about software license agreements etc... Won’t work on VZW...

one guy on the vodafone forums has it working fine on his 9500 without deleting the vendor file...
