Have you ever signed up for MSN Alerts? Like maybe for sports scores?

I forgot about it, until recently when I started getting game times and scores for Pittsburg Steeler games. They came from that address, with nothing identifying who the sender is, or how to stop them.

I did it a long time ago when VZW partnered with MSN Mobile, and set it up that I got notified about the Pittsburgh Steelers games (start time, end of 2nd quarter, end of game..)

To stop them, I had to now go into Windows Live alerts from Fox Sports.

It's the verizon wireless website. They send out text messages using it and use it for advertising and to let you know your bill is ready to be viewed, that they have received a payment from you etc

I get them all the time from that number and it's always verizon.
