Default SMS Over 160 Characters.... Bug??? You tell me!

OK... so I know we're all sick of the 160 character SMS testing limit in Blackberry devices... well I offer hope my friends...
Twice in the last week my Storm has let me send SMs text messages with over 160 characters!

When this happened it would show the characters followed by the page number... i.e. 160 1/6.... Just like on regular Verizon devices...
Well, I know none of you will believe me... so here's pics...

This happened both times when I simply hit Reply to a text message sent to me... any ideas? I could NOT reproduce it both times it has happened...
Happened on .65 and now .75 software.... weird stuff!

And thanks to my bud Don for hosting the pics
And yes... I know the pics suck ***! haha]

Cheers

Lee.

i think that this will eventually come out because i posted about it like 2 months ago when looking at the video on the blackberry website. if you look closely, you see you get the same lettering at the top. (betweeen 12 and 20 seconds on the video if anyone wants to look)

It has to be in the software but disabled... No way something like that is a glitch...

Yeah I have no idea what caused it to happen... because when i went back to the same message to try again... it just did the normal 160 limit...
Very odd... lol

Well this is encouraging. Atleast we know theres some sort of threaded text messaging implemented. Maybe they're just having a few problems with them being sent together... who knows.

What radio mode are you in? Multipage SMS is usually a GSM capability. However, some Verizon phones do this. Most notably, the XV6800 can do multipage SMS out of the box. Wondering if the SMS limit changes depending what radio mode you're in... who knows.
