Okay, So I have burned through six sheets of the screen covers (in two months) from my Strom that I have bought from Verizon. I seem to continue to get air bubbles when I put them on and hence, the screen protectors don't work near as well and begin to make a small air bubble into a huge bubble. Any suggestions on how to properly put them on or maybe a better product that I could purchase?

I realized that the screen protectors from Verizon don't work that well unless you take off the OEM screen protector off first. If you do that then try putting a new one on it will stick and look much better.

I use the Zagg Shield. It works great, you only have to put it on once, guaranteed for life. The only draw back is that you need a lot of patience when first putting it on. If you go to Zagg.com they have detailed instructions.
Edit: Forgot to mention that it cost around $20 usd. But definitively worth the money.

I don't use a screen protector on mine. It is a glass screen. I get a lot of finger prints, but no scratches. I've had it since January, and it pretty much lives in my pocket.

I bought the one from BestBuy. No goo, no bubbles (although it come with a card to remove any). Works well so far, sort of made it hard to drag at first, but after using and wiping it for a few days its much better.

Not only that but I no longer own any BlackBerry devices at all. Maybe in the future if RIM steps up their game I'll consider owning one again, but as it is right now, they just aren't competitive in the user market, and they never really have been. Theyre good at what they do, which is push E-mail but that's about it. Time will tell.

How long do they last? I've had my storm for a month and put one on the very first day from the Verizon store. It appears to be ok but I hear people saying they replace them...what should I look for when it needs to be replaced??

I've used the VZW screen protectors (and other similar aftermarket ones) on a few of my phones in the past (I've gone over to PhantomSkinz for my Storm), and I've found that the best way to lay them down without getting air bubbles is to start from one end of the screen and lay the protector down bit by bit until you get across to the other end, as opposed to just dropping it all down at once. That way, if you get an air bubble as you're moving along, you can easily get rid of it just by peeling back a little bit and then continuing forward.
