I wiped the device as but not using JL, just through phone options.
Any help/advice would be appreciated! | I dont think wiping it through the phone is a real Wipe.
Its just like a delete of your security settings, contacts, etc.

.76 big improvement over .75. Way faster response times on everything camera big improvement and I'm getting much faster internet response times. Installed then battery pull made the difference sad Verizon so far behind on the updates gonna hurt phone PR. No problem with install key was turning off internet on laptop after installing update and turning off all connections on phone. Many thanks.......

| | .76 video recorder...
Did anyone else encounter this issue? I had the unofficial .75 running and decided to go with .76 to see what the hype was all about. .76 seemed to run slightly faster, though I like using the video recorder....every time I used it, no matter how long or short the recorded time was, it would always freeze and I would have to do a battery pull. I ended wiping and going with the official .75 from Verizon and the video recording works well again.

Just did the J_LCommander wipe, .76 is in the neverending load from ****.
I did find, going through the file system getting rid of VAD, that they have broken
out the tones into a seperate .cod file again....
So I removed all the VADs, the vz nav cod, the 5m media cod that Civic found, and one other cod that resembled possibly wallpapers.

My 9530, with .76 after a wipe versus my wife's 9530, with .75 with no wipe...no differences.
I did a bunch of stuff...text, QWERTY, accelerometer...
If you have any other idea what test I need to do to prove there is a difference, let me know.

hey mtoomey79,
Was the .75 on your wife's storm the official VZW version? or the leaked.
The reason why is that i have the latest official OS .75 and am thinking of wiping it using the 3rd party software and installing the .76 from bell. But I don't want to end up with a glitchy non vzw official version.
our thoughts, or anyone else?

I've had the .76 on mine for about an hour...GLITCH FREE! At the same time I haven't played with it much...I've been busy typing on here.
FWIW - It does seem like the QWERTY mode typing might be a little better for my typing style...I don't know if I want to call it more accurate or more forgiving, just maybe a little better, or there could be no difference. When it comes to subjective measurements like ease of typing, the power of suggestion wins a lot of times.

There is a memory leak which sucks up your applications memory, it is MUCH better on .76, BUT still there.

I downloaded my OTA on my way to church this morning. Everything went OK. However when the phone came back on it indicates two messages on the display. It had zero before the update.
None of my folders have any messages. The phone is synced correctly. I even went as far as deleting emails, txts, etc. directly from the desktop manager.
Any ideas as to what is up? Did I perhaps receive a couple of calls while going through the half hour process? Would they not show up on the call log?
Just drives me nuts to see an envelope with 2 mssgs on it. I'm a busy person and that is my lifeline.
Guess I can always subtract two the rest of its existance .
Seriously, need input. Let me know your thoughts.
