Lightbulb Multi-Touch {SOON to Storm?}

Look like developers figured out how to access multi-touch on the G1. Im wondering will we ever get access like that with the Storm. I personally like the ability to zoom in and out of pics with two fingers

I hope so. However, while it seems cool when you think about and see someone else do it, when I actually messed around doing fake gestures and copy and paste on my phone it just didn't seem practical. I don't like my nails touching the screen or coming close to the screen and it just seemed hard to do with one hand. One touch zooming is just much more practical to me. What other cool multi touch things could it be used for I wonder?

Android is an open source OS, and if RIM hasn't made it part of the Storm's OS I doubt they gave developers any APIs to do it themselves.

Blackberry supports multitouch. Don't believe me? Go in the mail app and highlight multiple emails. The only way you can do it is highlight one and then at the same time click another one lower down in the list. That's multitouch. The Storm has it.

Now I guess we can argue where they need to utilize it. As they are under using it, I grant you. But the screen can understand multiple touch points at the same time.

Well I guess that was kind of my point. It's going to be up to RIM to do that, as 3rd party programmers are only going to be able to do what the APIs allow them to.
