Default i finally got my storm to lock up!

And all I had to do was run BB app world...
Who knew?
Yeah I know, its probably a known issue for some of you, but I rarely if ever try to add apps to my phone.
I just think its odd that it was a RIM app that caused it and not a 3rd party app.
For the first time ever I know what its like to have my storm lock up.
Looks like its time to toss another app in the garbage

Locked up... You know...
The perpetual white clock in the middle of the screen.
The screen wouldn't scroll or click and none of the hard keys would work either. I figured eventually it would time itself out and the phone would reboot, but no. After almost 10 minutes I ended up pulling the battery.

It was the actual BB app world app that caused it. I never even got to try downloading an app from there. I was still searching.

Hmm, I have app world since it came out. Down loaded some free apps, but it has not given me any issues so far.

Wonder why it caused your storm to lock up

I don't know but if it did it once I know it will do it again. Even though these things are great for multitasking, this time in particular I wasn't. BB app world was the only thing running at the time. Maybe ill try it again. Then again, every storm is different so maybe mine just plain doesn't like app world.

I know what you mean, my storm for some reason has an issue with a small tip calculating app. The app works but my storm brings it up slowwwwly.

Unless RIM fixed this application, it is known to cause a HUGE memory leak. It doesn't surprise me it would cause the device to totally lock up eventually.

PS: Ronindan, Your avatar scares me. :P
