I finally got the files to type korean on the stom.....
use your dm and go to app loader and go to update and you should see the korean input. check mark it and your ready to go.....

i got it installed on my storm.. thank you.. but is it just me or i can type in korean in everything (email, bbmsngr, mms, aim, etc) but not in SMS. are you having the same issue or just me?

I just installed .109 on my storm... i was able to read korean on .75... but now i can't read it anymore...
i dont need to type in korean... i just need to read it... does anybody know where i can find this file?

Oops. Never mind. I was only able to add one file through the Desktop Manager. So I guess everything is done automatically.

Great post. It works great for my Verizon 8830.
However, is there a way to "shortcut" between english and korean fonts?
On standard keyboards you use "Alt+Shift" and then the right "Alt" button to go back and forth between korean and english. Is there a 'hotkey' of some sort or do we have to keep going into "Options>Language>Input Language" to change between korean and english?

just use ur dm and browse for the downloaded file on ur desktop...should be in .alx format.(application loader->browse->install korjap.alx->then u should see it on the program list that is going to be on your phone) and this works for .103 too

Hi, I'm using Storm from Verizon and here is the message I'm getting.

After I click Browse -> Select BB_Korean_Japanese.alx -> Click Open -> Searching for available device software -> "ERROR" No additional applications designed for your device were found.

What's going on here?

I noticed that there were Japanese language files in addition to Korean but when I looked at input languages only Korean was shown. Does this application also include Japanese character input as well? Am I overlooking something?

Go to Options > Language > Language ID > Select "Hide"
