Just got an email from verizon. It says my phone number below all that and says I am eligible for an upgrade unless I received one in the past 180 days.
Are they tired of people multifruing up to s2's or trying to increase sales for the holidays. I bought my phone past may so I know it is early for me to get my new every two deal. Just interested to know if anyone else has received these emails?
am I the only one who feels insulted that the droid is priced $20 more?????? lol...but seriously, I'm really looking forward to getting the S2...if only it would do UMA!
I just checked my verizon account and my email address is from 2 years ago. I dont even have that email account anymore, hope I didnt get the email sent to my old address.
If I did get the email sent to my other address its my fault for not updating it
I am a Storm customer from the first day it came out last year. I received the flyer but I'm not interested in upgrading since the updates have came out. I finally have no problems so I don't want to get a new phone and have to wait for at least a year for the bugs to be worked out.
I got my email today. I was just in the Verizon store over the weekend trying to get an upgrade and they told me to come back on the 25th (my annual date). I plan to pick up my Storm2 soon.
take in account that the new customer pays a $35.00 activation fee and still has to activate a second line at 25.00 to get the bogo so yes its a better deal for the select customers that upgrade without the 20 early upgrade fee
Got my email today. It expires end of year. I will wait to see what happens mid december when I can get a 1 year upgrade and see what the price is then. Who knows

I still don't feel that doubling the memory and adding WiFi (the two major differences between the S1 and S2) translates to a monetary worth of $180.00. Once it's around $100.00, I'll go for it. Until then, I'm going to enjoy my S1 with 5.0.0.328, which is fantastic.

if they give current S1 users the $99 deal, then I would be all over this...but I still haven't received my email yet
