Default dropped storm help??

Ok... had a bad vacation when it comes to my new storm!!! I dropped the thing and not only cracked the screen but now none of the buttons work... I can drag the screen and highlight what I want but the push to click nor the main buttons will respond....Is it salvagable or should I start shopping ebay?!?!?!

Sorry to hear about your phone. Do you have insurance? If you don't have insurance, I would shop eBay. If you have insurance, then file a claim. For a $50 deductible you can spare yourself any heartache. There is always full retail price, but you may be able to find it cheaper through another means.

P.S. If history repeats itself this is probably going to turn into one of those long threads with people trying to give you bad advice.

If you can't afford the insurance, you should buy a cheaper phone.

No chance for it to be covered under warranty (I know that's not what you asked) - it'll be blatantly obvious that the device was dropped - but did you insure it?

While I know there are a number of sources from which to obtain replacement parts, personally, I wouldn't want the hassle and would rather fork over the $50 to have it replaced.

Ugh.. that s*cks! Personally, I'd opt for the purchase of a new unit. However, if you're bent on trying to repair it you should be able to get what you need from the following site:

Storm replacement parts

My 2 year old knocked my storm off of a table.
I get red power light for 5 seconds.
no screen power at all. (if I tap it right it flickers)
Buttons are lite for a few.

I have insurance.
What is my next step?

They exchanged it no problem. No fee.

They didn't ask if I dropped it.
I only said the screen stopped working.

It actually feels better then mine.
