.75????????????? Is that a joke? I don't know if anyone remembers how to fix problems from .75. I suggest upgrading to .151. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but everything about .151 is such a massive improvement over .75, it's like trading in your horse and carriage (which certainly works) for a Porche, and not having to pay anything for the trade.

Its the os for sure. And leaked os's come from the same place official os's come from. So never be scared to use what is the best os out. Just my .02.

Since you're on Verizon, you could at the very least upgrade to the "official" .148 that Verizon makes available (if that gives you a warm & fuzzy feeling)...but yeah, .151 is sound and probably a better choice.
Same problem used to happen to me using Google Talk app when I was running .75 -- basically, if you're having the same problem I was, you're running out of app memory, which freezes up the device and causes the required reboot. Even if it's not the same problem, there are about a 1000 other reasons to update your OS regardless...and it will probably help fix your issue.

I was going to give you the advice that I saw everyone else give you but if you really don't want to upgrade your o.s. (for whatever reason) the only advice I can give you is pull your battery, often.

You have a good night as well, remember to search the os forums if you have any problems, everything has been answered there.

Just my .02. | I actually was going to try doing my first upgrade over the weekend ... reading over the how-to pages that I'd printed out it hit me that .151 is a leaked OS so I decided to hold off. Having never done even an official upgrade, and the fact that even though the leaks are from the "real thing" it comes to mind that a leak is not official yet because maybe they aren't done testing it or whatever and I could nuke my storm and not know how to fix it. I *love* my storm immensely and if I just exercise a little patience and wait until it's official at least if I upgrade through the right channels, I won't be voiding my warranty so that I can take it to Verizon if something goes wrong and they will fix it. Call me chicken if you will, but I look at it as better safe than sorry. Supposedly the official release will be out soon so I'll wait a little longer. I don't think I've personally read even one post say the leaked version caused them any problems and I've seen a LOT of raves about it so I am looking forward to .151 when it's officially ready.

If you want an official verizon release .148 was released O.T.A. Just go options>advanced options>wireless update. I'd strongly suggest .151 though, it is way better.

At the very least upgrade to .148. Its verizons "official" update and you can do it through your phone. And if something does go wrong(which is highly doubtful) u can always take it to a verizon store with no problem. 148 is way better than 75 by the way, that would be your safest and best bet
