My Storm was having MAJOR issues and I wiped it and reloaded the OS. For some reason (even though I backed up my 3rd party apps and DM says that BBM 5.0 is loaded) I only have the original BBM on my device.

I know the link was snatched from a few websites. Does anyone have an OTA link that works???

Yeah, I want to know too. The one I have was the manual install file (alx and .cod files) and it says it isn't compatible now.. so I am stuck.

Try this link from ur device and click on the 2nd MIRROR link beside 95xx. I'm downloading it right now. Hopefully it works.

oh forgot to say just right click and copy shortcut and email to your phone then open the link and wala. You now can download BBM 5.0

Blackberry Messenger 5.0 available through Desktop Manager. I just updated to 5.0 a few minutes ago. So far is good. It's pretty cool. I like the chat bubbles. LOL

Guys, please help me! I upgraded to 5.0 and now have BBM 5.0. But there is NO icon and I have tried everything.

I have the BB Storm 9530. Any ideas?

i had the same problem u have this is what i did i reloaded the 5.0 os and when you reload take off the bbm off no matter the verision and just re install it
( and what i mean by take it off tell the app loader not to install it )

thats where i got my bbm 5.0 make sure you go that website from your phone and make sure you click the links that are labeled 95xx

is it just me or does it seem like bbm5 has been working pretty solid? I've had almost no issues with mine since I redownloaded not too long ago. Have most of the issues been resolved in regards to message sending/receiving?
