Whats the best solution for a vehicle mount for the Storm? Using the Garmin Mobile app for the storm is nice but a good mount to keep your eyes on the road would be better.
I have a friend that has that all purpose case that's like $60 that you can throw around and it won't break(Don't know the brand) and he just velcroe's it to his steering wheel. LMAO. Now, if by chance you care about your phone and like your car... Well, nevermind then!
I drive a 2006 F-150 and I haven't been able to find any vent mounts that fit tightly. Dash mounts are just a bad idea... you never want to add weight on top of a dash... what a great way to ruin your CD player. So the seat bolt mount just seemed like a no brainer. That link I just posted is the same exact mount that I use for my Storm and I love it!!

I've been looking for something like this. Out of curiosity, why did you get the stand for an iphone instead of the one made for the Storm? Does it actually work better or something? Thanks man.
I just purchased a ProClip vehicle mount specifically made for the Storm. Not cheap, but very well made and stable. In my case, I ordered the power cord included and it mounted very well. Give it a try!

proclip USA makes the best mounts I have ever seen. it comes in 2 parts kind of pricey but, its made specifically for ur car and specifically for ur phone. i have mine for the storm and its perfect fit.
Check this one I got from eBay. For $23.99 shipped it fits the Storm perfectly, and can't seeing it being worse than the ProClip. My wife has a ProClip for her iPhone, but it's just way overpriced.
that car kit looks slick they have it for my ride but it looks like you have to put the storm in their normal I have a hard cover over my storm looks like it wont work?? is there a universal thats adjustable on the sides..?? maybe i better call them..
also- does any of the mounts that you guys currently have- do they cover the usb port for charging? I have a cheapy mount that I have in my Acura MDX- it looks great...perfect angle and everything- however the sides cover the USB slot. I listen to my BB through the factory speakers via the AUX (music,flycast, etc) and it scares me that I don't have a good way to keep it charged while driving and doing those other things.
i put heavy duty Velcro on the back of a cheap Teflon case and on my car in a good spot. wont hurt the car where i put it. lol!! works great people love it
Well i got this cell phone holder from Walmart that sits in your cup holder. I can put my Storm in it, a couple of pens, some coins and a place to hold my shades. It cost about $3.00 and it works fine in my F150's cupholder.
Another Question on about the KiDiGi mount.
Is the cig plug cord hard wired into the mount itself or does it plug in?
I want to hard wire mine into my fuse box so I like to know whether I can order it with bare wires or do will I have to cut the plug end off. If I have to cut it up its going to make the return a little difficult if it doesnt work.
i ordered my mount from cb store today i just ordered the gooseneck deal that plugs into the lighter socket i got a cool idea for my car ill post pics when i get it all situated should be here thursday keep an eye for updates!

It has a nice hole on the left hand side so that you can get your charging cable through to charge it. I also like this specific one because it is universal. Maybe one day you would like to put your iPod there, you have the option. And personally I just like vent mounts, I stay away from windhield mounts.
