EDIT 2: I just passed the info on to Kevin, PLUS this would seem to be in line with that earlier shot we saw in the Forums listing the Storm2 on an internal Verizon support document. Here we go folks!

I'd be pretty surprised to see a 2nd gen Storm so quickly, but then again maybe this is why we haven't seen any build number rumors for the Storm and OS 5.0.

I can confirm that there will be a Storm 2 coming to Verizon sometime in the fall. My father is an executive rather high up, and told me that there will be a Storm 2 coming out in the fall. I dont have any detail, so I cant confirm that. But there will be a new storm.

I would think they would make SOME kind of offer, maybe a trade in for 50 or 100 off the 2 year price as an annual upgrade? BUT since we don't even know if this is even true yet it's all just speculation.

EDIT: With a trade in they could then refurb our Storms and put out a discounted "certified" pre owned BB, or use them for warranty replacement. If the Storm 2 has wifi I WANT it!!!!! Certainly there WILL be a Storm 2, just not so sure about the timing, Sept seems awful soon, and just on the heels of the 9630? Suspect at best.
