Default Anybody plan on not upgrading to the Tour?

I don't mind keeping the storm until the storm 2 is released. I love the screen size on it, plus mines work pretty good. The tour looks like an awesome device but after doing a little research on it i think im going to sit that one out unless i win one from crackberry. I only created this thread because all the other ones seem to be about different ways for people to cheat the system to get a tour since they are not happy with the storm.

Screen size, apps loaded, works fine for me. Don't think I'll trade for a glorified curve.

Yea I was going to add a line to get, but after the comparison its really not worth the upgrade if you have a storm or bold. Its a huge difference if you have a curve pearl or 8830.

Cool **** NO... to the TOUR

I actually work at an XYZ store (you know who I mean) and I used to be TOTALLY against the storm, wouldn't have recommended it to anyone coming in to the store and as the service technician, seen a ton of people bring back their storms hating them... which added to my own hatrid for the storm. I have since decided that the folks who hate their storms (not that there isn't a few bad ones out there) had just downladed enough stupid themses and other garbage to literally make their phone the peice of crap they were handing me... think about it its like a computer, the more junk you download to it and clog it up the slower your PC goes and the more it crashes... its simply the nature of the of the beast. HOWEVER, I was also the person responsible for doing the 148 upgrade on our current stock and after handling several hundred of these phones... they started to grow on me. They grew on me enough I wanted to get rid of my Omnia (which I also liked very much) and get a Storm. I thought to myself, well maybe if I had to deal with one every day I wont like it... who cares... if that happens I'll just take it back. Needless to say I haven't taken it back, probably won't either. I do wish it had a keyboard... I dont think touch screen texting will ever be better than a keyboard... that being said. I like a touchscreen too much to give it up for a keyboard. So to conclude.... other than a nicer look and a better camera, I can't see the TOUR being much better than a curve. And with a curve being $50 after rebate I can't see paying $199 after rebate for a prettier model. I'll be keeping my STORM thank you!

I thought it had the same 3.2 megapixel camera as the storm. And I personally think the storm is far more aesthetically pleasing. On topic, I don't consider it an upgrade and I'll be sticking with the touchscreen.

Oh, you said curve. Sorry, I'm deaf...or illiterate...or whatever.

I dont plan on it unless I win the free one. My phone is perfect for what I use it for. The only phone I would trade it in for is an Iphone if available on Verizon's network. Not that its a better phone, but just that it has some apps I really want like Sirius.

can't go back to a non-touch screen phone. My storm went down and I had to use my 8830 for a day and I was miserable. The storm sucks when it comes to putting any apps on or having too many songs on my memory card, which takes 20 minutes to load them up, then for some reason all 3000 songs will go down to zero and a battery pull is necessary. BUT, apart from that the Storm is solid and unless someone gives me a free Tour, i'm sticking with the Storm.

Ill stick with my storm until odin comes out. After using the larger screen I can't give it up. Although the os needs some work I find navigation is easier and faster than using a track ball.
