Celebrating their 100th Anniversary, famed UK Department Store, Selfridges continues to showcase product from their Centenary Collection. Offering a plethora of various collaborative product already, this latest project finds the retailer paired alongside BlackBerry. Utilizing the Bold model in a Pantone Yellow 109 leather-bound colorway, this extremely limited edition phone features a production run of only 10 units, in the stores signature color choice. With a retail price of roughly $1,500 USD, the phones are now available through the Selfridges London location.

Typical over-priced crap from Selfridges, a store where if you have more money than common sense you will be happy there. Similar to those utterly ridiculous Vertu phones that cost a few few grand because they are made out of diamonds, leather or some fancy metal...funnily enough Vertu phones are nokias underneath all that bling.
No doubt there will be cheap knock offs of that...id rather send my bold to colorware and get them to do a unique color job on my Bold.
Give it a few months and people will make keypads and have yellow backings, all seperate so that people can buy the parts and install them, themselves.

You did get VIP support with it for your �1000, which for some people is worth a **** of a lot more than anything.
I actually liked it and it is only double what a SIM free Bold costs in the UK.
People pay to be individual. Think about what we've just said with colourware. Once you add that cost to the original purchase price you arent far off.
