I use BerryBuzz personally. Tried BuzzMe and couldn't get it to work right - though it's probably user error. Based on the descriptions, the only difference I see is that BB has settings for BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) while BM doesn't.
Although I've had little experience with BuzzMe, I do like BerryBuzz. It's easy to set up and definitely worth the price.
Berrybuzz is great, but will take a bit of fooling around for you to get it tweaked just right. Make sure you go into your profiles and set Repeat Notifications to "None" for just about anything that you've customized with Berrybuzz.
BerryBuzz has saved me quite a lot of time just by being able to look at the LED and see what kind of message I got. Each application that uses notification got a different LED color.
Phone calls - disco
Missed calls - bright red
Emails - white
SMS/MMS - purple
Facebook - blue
Twitter - red (would be turquoise but uncustomizable)
BeejiveIM - yellow
BlackBerry Messenger - orange

Definitely will take some tweaking, but what's nice is that at least you're able to 'tweak' the application to meet your own needs. That's largely what you're paying for.
BerryBuzz is one of the two paid apps that I have. I find it indespensible! Easy to see what is comming in by LED colour. Also love the custom colour abilty.
just a quick question for you peeps, did you guys all get it when it was on DoD ? and when was the last time it was on there ? Kinda terrified to spend $6 on this app..
I have been using the trial version off BerryBuzz for the last few days and it is working nicely. One of the things I like about it is that there is a separate LED alert for BB Messenger messages.
I looked into Buzzme Pro and Blink, but as far as I can see, they don't have a separate LED alert for BB Messenger messages, so that will most likely rule them out for me.
I think though that I have noticed much more of a battery drain since using BerryBuzz (I have short LED flashes going off every 5 seconds). Has anyone else noticed that, or is it just a coincidence?
