Default search messages

Hmmmm, I've just found an application in my downloads folder called "search messages" it has a strange white pixelated icon, all it does when you open it is allow you to search through your sms messages, It's just it wasn't there yesterday and I didn't install it and I just thought it was a bit strange it being in my downloads folder and having that strange icon, does anyone know how it might have got there?

A virus? I don't think it's a virus. I have "Search" as well.

Lol how old are you? Yes I've read it, although I'll admit I'm not sure I understand it. I also used to not have that in my bb menu until a recent OS upgrade to .282, now i have it (along with a whole bunch of useless crap such as trials of pacman, scrabble, etc, that I've either gotten rid of or hidden).

However, maybe I am confusing this with some other thing.
The fact remains I have read this thread, Mr. Smartypants.

I'm on .266 and it's just appeared on my Bold too!! It's in the Downloads folder and if I click the menu button it doesn't offer a delete option.

Moved it to Applications file and still can't delete, doesn't show in DM either.

Just as it mysteriously came, it has now mysteriously gone, without any action on my part - anyone else had this?
