    RIM doesn't currently support Mac. You will need to run some virtual desktop software on your Mac, such as Parallels, to run a virtual Windows machine on your Mac that you can install DM on.

    For your 2nd question: PocketMac -- Sync Macintosh Contacts, Calendars, Tasks, Ringtones, EMail & More To BlackBerry, Pocket PC, Smartphone, iPhone, and much more...

    I use bootcamp and vmware fusion, both work fine.
