has anyone had this problem? If i am using wifi and i try to stream a youtube video i get an "error player" message. However if i stream it via 3G it plays just fine. I'm running OS 4.6.0.266

You need to mess around with the firewall settings on your router. Essentially, you either disable your firewall entirely or disable it just for the bold, but then you would need to program the router to always assign the same IP address to your phone and it gets a little complex after that...

@msaririan - do you understand this issue well enough to comment on whether it could be resolved by a future OS update from RIM? I'd hate to spend hours messing with my router if the issue is going away in a few months...

I wonder if there may be confusion over site address you are using?

I have my active Pearl set to use BlackBerry Internet Browser which works with my carrier or UMA when active.

My inactive Curve uses BlackBerry Hotspot Browser, both work correctly with:
