- I have had this bold for over a month now and been putting appointments using my calender. Now when i add an appointment WHY IS IT A DIFFERENT COLOR? I did not add any calenders. Why when i go to my options i see three calenders? How does this happen? All i want is to add future appoinments to my caleneder with having three different colors. i want it to be all the same color.
Can some tell me why this happens? is this normal? i need instructions on how to use the CALENDER.12-19-09 09:50 PMLike 0 -
- If you go to the calendar app and go to the menu and hit Select Calendar, what do you see? I am guessing you have 3 different calendars. You do not what a Default Device. That meams that all of your events are no longer tied to an email address which is what you want. You may also have a Facebook calendar.
If you go to the phone's main option area ->Advanced Options ->Default Services, you can set the default calendar to use.
If you search for move calendar, you will find threads on how to move all of a calendar's events over onto another calendar. Facebook entries should be left alone. If you have a few stragglers on that calendar, it will probably be best to manually recreate them.12-20-09 09:16 AMLike 0 - When I go to my calender and select options I see three calenders.
1)Groups
2)Device default
3)My email address here
If I got to options>advanced options>default services>
Both calender and messaing are my email address
Just recently when ever I add a appointment in my calender it shows a different color because it shows as Groups now, before was default device.

The Default Device is only there because at one point in time, your phone did not have a valid email address (that creates the CICAL) and they got transferred to the Default Device.
If you switch to Agenda view and then filter to just the Groups calendar, do you see anything? (I'm hoping not). I'm assuming that your multiple colors are just the two colors for the email (which is where your freshly entered events are going ) and default device with a few red ones in there denoting conflicts.
Definitely search for "move calendar entries" and foloow the instructions to move the DEfault Device events to your email address calendar.12-20-09 03:58 PMLike 0 - It should actually be putting the things into your email address one.
