Default broken convenience key?

My left convenience key just stopped working. I have to hit it a bunch of time to get quicklaunch
To pop up. Hardware or software issue?

Probably a hardware thing... mine was acting up intermittently and I happened to order a black bezel and new buttons and once I made the change, it worked fine. Just google CNN.cn and check it out.
