Bold introduction at Rogers, Augsut 19th !!!!

I got confirmation from Rogers that the Bold will be on sale August 19th.

I will have to put my 8830WE to rest and switch network (from Bell to Rogers). My 8830WE gave me 12:19:28:24 of satisfaction after a year. But I can't resist getting the new Bold!!!

No people from Rogers were meeting on the 11th. to give information for the launch.

I got verbal confirmation from 2 different people at Rogers today.

I know where I'll be on the 19th. early in the morning.

I was joking..we have been hearing dates for months and months. The dates are never correct. It just gets people worked up over nothing.

lol. The Americans here are just cranky because we Canadians finally have a date on Rogers, where as AT& T is still screwing them.

Personally, its been a LONG wait.

btw: if anyone needs a wireless router, Staples.ca has the D-link DIR-625 N on for $69 CDN. Its $100 @ Best Buy & Future Shop. The Bold is only G, not N. I live in a non-3g area so WiFi would be in order as EDGE would be painfully slow.

There hasnt been an actual date set for the release. its just speculation, but i work at rogers plus and we havent been notified of the date yet. but i do believe that this is true because of upcoming meetings and trainings.
