Hi guys

So I got my bold and it had this case inside it : BlackBerry Bold Leather Swivel Holster - HDW-19592-001

Now I am wondering how to remove the belt clip on the back? It really annoys me lol.

Any ideas?

There should be a release button on the holster where it connects.

If it's the same OEM holster that comes with the phone, it doesn't have a release button.

ya it came with the phone. So it cant be taken off?

I read on here once where someone just cut the swivel clip off.

I don't know about push weather subscription. I just use WeatherEye now.

If you lift up the lever you will see the rotation point.
The lever assembly is held onto the back with two flat plastic hooks.
Take a plier and squeeze the hooks in.
You should be able to lift the lever off the body.
You will be left with the two plastic hooks on the body that can be cut off or left on.


For push weather I use accuweather.com. There is an icon on the desktop that seems to be updated frequently

I will have to try this out as the belt clip bothers me aswell

As for the weather junk that comes with the phone. Once setup, it took me about 36 hours to see the weather icon.
