Default Microsoft Tellme on 8130

I have an 8130 and tried to download tellme (the forum won't let me post the url, but it's tellme [dot] com) using the 8100 link. When I got to the site on my mobile browser it says my phone isn't yet supported. I assume this is just an error, right? Anyone know a workaround?

Thanks!
Jon

Currently the BB's supported are Pearl 8100, 8800, 8820, 88300, and the 8310. The mobile download link is, m.tellme.com

But shouldn't anything for the 8100 work on the 8130? or am I mistaken?

thanks!

Not really. 8100 is usually separate from 8110/8120/8130. Look at this forum. 8100 isn't part of it.

A lot of the time, however, 8100 software/themes and whatnot will work on the successive phones in the series such as the 8110/8120/8130. I would love to give it a try if anyone can get the OTA download file isolated so we can download it...

Haven't tried the voice input feature (at work right now), but it seems to work okay once the application permissions are okay.

yes foghorn, you are right, after installing you need to edit the application permissions for interactions to allow, then the voice recognition will work

Did you need to just Allow for all interactions (e.g. keystroke injection)? Or is it a specific interaction like Media Access?

Thanks!

I just set all interactions to allow and it worked. You cound probably go through each one to figure out exactly which ones you need, but it would take a while.

I took a guess at Media Access, and it works fine. Cool stuff.
