Default Best FREE apps for your Blackberry

What are the best FREE apps for the Blackberry ( I have a Pearl 8130 ).

I currently have Crackberry, Opera Mini, and Viigo downloaded - are there any others that you recommend & why...

Thanks!!

I'd suggest going through the software section of CB. Ther are a dozen or so free apps. For games try this

170+ Free Games for your BlackBerry | BB Geeks

Have fun!!!!

First, I'd point your BB browser to mobile.google.com and pick and choose your favorite google apps. I recommend Search (yeah it's just a bookmark, but it's handy), Sync (sync your GCal with your BB!!), Maps (8130 = GPS), and Picasa.

Then head to mobile.blackberry.com and pick up your favorite IM client. I use Google Talk and Windows Live, but that's me. You can also pick up the Facebook for BB app there somewhere I think.

It's not an app, but I like Youmail.com. You can make it an app by getting BB Web Shortcuts from ... somewhere. I can't find the link, but Google will help you here. (sorry)

Some folks like Yahoo! Go, I didn't, YMMV.

Have fun!

I've got:

Weatherbug
Crackberry
ESPN
NY Times
CNN
NY Mets
Softreset
WorldMate
Gmail
Bank of America
Google Sync

The only app I've paid for is Empower.
I also have Sprint Navigation, which was free for me, but obviously isn't free for everyone.

Sorry about the newbie question, but what is the Crackberry application? Is it just a bookmark for the site basically?

Default Check out the discussion

on the topic: Popular Blackberry Download Links

There are links to tons of applications. I would post the URL but it turns out I can only do that after 10 posts.

That's what it is. You can also select whether you want it to launch to the Forums first, or the WAP homepage.

It's just a bookmark really. Launches your browser and displays your search results.

also check out microsoft's live search. traffic, weather, movie times, local business search, etc.

Just noticed today you can add the information from your search to your address book in one click.
