    Try a battery pull - the infamously "stable" BlackBerry OS went off its rocker.

    Do it with the device on, then leave the battery out a MINIMUM of 30 seconds, but preferably 60 seconds.

    Reinstall battery and allow your device to completely power up. Then give it a try.
