im in Maryland.. havent been able to get emails for over an hour.

2 blackberries in my NJ office do not have data right now. Curve went out about a hour ago, storm went out 5 mintues ago. Been on hold with verizon for about 30 mintues so I'm guessing it's a widespread issue.

Just spoke to verizon, their data network is down, no eta on when it will be resolved

Well not really if this user is using a converted Alltel tower.

In the event of a data outage this weekend....I have a workaround!

Put down the Blackberry....turn TV to CBS, watch endless college basketball...You can check email on Monday after the 1st 2 rounds have finished.
