| | Why am I not a Premier Customer?
Well, not me myself, my Mom. She has been with Sprint/Nextel for like, 15 years, and has always had unlimited everything. This year my sister and I got on Sprint with her, and we pay like, 160 dollars a month. So why are we not premier customers? I want to know because I want a new Tour, and if our account is considered a "Premier Customer" than I could upgrade for sure now, without having to haggle with CS. Why am I not a Premier customer?!

Somewhere on here, there was posted the rules to become a premier customer. But it seems like everything you described entitles you. Having a good payment history is the only thing I didn't see you address. But I imagine that unless your service is turned off and reinstated a couple times every year, you still should be due. So I would call and ask them what it takes to become one.
Just remember that cliche, "You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar."

We have a really good payment history, so I'm on live chat with a Sprint CSR right now.

Damnit Mommy!
Just because she's all fancy and owns three businesses, she opened up a Business Account for me, my sister and I.
Business acounts don't qualify for Premier status

The discount only applies to the main line anyway

For others having similar issues Sprint is hosing a bunch due to a billing software upgrade in 2005 which shows them as their first year of service. Call in and they can retrieve your records and update the system accordingly.

There is actually something better if you have a business account. I hope that someone else can fill in the gaps cause I know of the plan, but not the specifics. But a 'business premier account' lets you earn points that can be redeemed for all sorts of items.
Even heard of a couple people getting brand new free phones from their points.

Good luck!! |

I just talked to a Sprint CS rep. They said they were unsure if premier accounts would be given any type of discount for the Tour. Which doesn't surprise me. It seems the basic CS reps at Sprint don't usually have much knowledge of things like that. Is it confirmed that premier accounts get the same discount as people signing a new contract or those eligible for an upgrade?
