Call Tones

This may be a repost or something but I'm new to this site so anywho. I am wondering if Sprint will ever have call tones on BB. My friends have BB on other carriers and they are allowed to have call tones. Also on the Palm Centro and I believe the Treo that has the Palm OS you can use call tones.

Will the new OS upgrade allow BB users to get call tones?

No, as of right now the bb does not support call tones. I'm running 4.5.0.97and sill nothing.

Do you mean having clips of different songs as ringers for different people? Cause you can do this. Any mp3 file will work.

no. I had a treo with call tones. they are songs that play for the caller when they call your cell instead the standard ring for your carrier.

No software in testing for BB that has Call Tones available for download...sorry!

I was just looking through Sprint site to see if they offer call tones for BlackBerry and they don't

All of the other phone carriers have call tones for the BBs, why can't Sprint get this figured out?. I'm really into the call tones like everyone else. Don't they realize how much revenue they can generate from call tones? Obviously NOT!

Ok, ya lost me on this one, are you meaning that you are looking for Sprint to offer call tones? If so, why? I make all my call tones, and do not have to pay for them. I also make call tones for all my friends for their BB's...

If you mean the Sprint BB not supporting call tones, not sure why yours would not, mine does, I have about 60 different call tones on mine, and have them set up for the peeps I want to know are calling me and can identify without looking...

Those are ring tones. The OP is talking about call tones. When you have call tones the person calling you will hear whatever tone you chose instead of the normal ring.

Call Tones Are Available For All Phones On The Sprint Network
