Crap. It happened to me when I was driving home tonight and the blinking lights were driving me crazy. I accidentally hit on 'trust' and the key thing popped up but I was driving so cleared out and just did a battery pull. Now I'm not getting that option anymore. Any ideas what I should do to get it back?

Edit: sorry I didn't refresh now I see that the problem is back for everyone? Sheesh!

As soon as I read the post from Sir, I sent a text message and it did exactly what he said. It asked to store the cert. So I did, and it was working good for a while. I sent and recieved quite a few texts. Now its back again... This is horse ****! Im about to put my sim card in one of my i580s again. I have had the 8350i since late last year, and have spent more time with issues than actual use. Its getting old.

Yeah, it only worked for maybe 4 texts here. :/ Since the certificates expire on a certain date, I'm going to try to change the date on my phone as a temp fix. Will report my findings

Changing the date seems to work. I sent a text to myself with no popup. I don't delete my texts so I had to scroll through about a week of texts and emails to find it. So it seems to be an alternative solution.

Not a very practical solution. I would rather just click the continue button each time.

or we can wait till morning and see if RIM and Sprint got the fix. doing what Tdawg says would be a temp fix if you REALLY needed to text someone. like you said, kinda not worth it

Yep, it's back. It's on Nextel's end, nothing we can do about it but wait until they have it sorted out.

hey if you do do the date thing, make sure that you set the time to BB, not network.... otherwise it will update the date and your back to where you started.

the best thing i can say is to wait it out. if someone needs to get in touch with you that bad they can call. thats the way i am looking at it. i have to get up in six hours...... nite all.

again just wait it out, its not the end of the world.

For people who need their texts now, its a solution to the problem. Since I save all of my messages, its not a great fix in my eyes but it'll get the job done. Hopefully I have helped a few people.

Verified, it works. Checked the certificate in the security menu and it doesn't expre until June 5th 2011. So we got a little under 2 years. Night all! Oh, and you can all change your dates back, lol.
