Default Which T-Mobile Plan is right for me? Please Help.

Hello,

I'm in the process of purchasing a BlackBerry Curve 8320 from T-Mobile through LetsTalk.com

They offer 3 Blackberry Plans:

BlackBerry Unlimited w/Enterprise Email Add-on
Add access to BlackBerry corporate data features to a voice rate plan. For use with BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) software, includes unlimited BES access, BlackBerry Web Client e-mail, and Web browsing. Does not include text/insant messaging.
($29.99/month)

BlackBerry Unlimited Add-on
Add access to BlackBerry's powerful data functionality to a voice rate plan. The BlackBerry Unlimited Add-on includes unlimited BlackBerry Web Client e-mail and Web browsing. Does not include text/instant messaging.
($19.99/month)

BlackBerry Unlimited E-mail Add-on
Add access to BlackBerry's powerful e-mail functionality to your voice plan. The BlackBerry Unlimited E-mail Add-on includes unlimited BlackBerry Internet E-mail.
($9.99/month)

They also offer the following text messaging plans:

Unlimited Domestic Messages
($14.99/month)

Any 1000 Domestic Messages
($9.99/month)

Any 400 Domestic Messages
($4.99/month)

I know the BB Curve 8320 has WIFI but I don't really need Internet access/Email access right now (I will need it later on).

I am only interested in PIN messaging and text messaging at the moment, along with my voice plan of course.

1) Does the "Any 400 Messages" for $4.99/month include text and PIN Messaging?

2) If the above is true, can I PIN Message any BB user, from anywhere in the world, and it would just come out of my 400 Messages a month (no additional cost)?

3) If I only get the 400 Messages a month plan, how much would I be paying if I access the Internet?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you!

DJ

BlackBerry Unlimited w/Enterprise Email Add-on is for situations where you are being added to your company's BES server. If this is just a personal BB, I would go for the 19.99 plan.

Hi DJ,
I think you can PIN another BB for no cost even if you have no data or text messaging plan. The BB Unlimited plan does not include text msg.. Text msg. is an added feature you have to pay for no matter if you add BB unlimited or not.

I suggest to just start off with the 400 text msg. plan and add the BB unlimited when you are ready.

Sorry but this is wrong. You must have a data plan to use BB Messenger.

Thanks for the responses.

So are all the Blackberry Unlimited Plans with T-mobile considered to be Data Plans?

If I got the BB Unlimited E-mail Add on for $9.99/month..would I be able to PIN message?

negative. the BB Unlimited e-mail is just that, for e-mail.

T-Mobile's Unlimited blackberry data is the cheapest blackberry data plan out there $19.99/mo. take it, you'll need it for PIN messaging as well at anything related to internet web browsing.

As far as text messaging, your text will not count against your minutes. You will be charged for them, send/recieve at 15 cents each if you do not have a text messaging bundle. PIN messaging and data usage does not go with your SMS/MMS messaging, as stated, you'll need the blackberry data for it.

Good Luck!!!
