Arrow Retentions Question

Hey. Is the retentions department able to adjust the prices on services like the internet plan?

The reason I ask is because I thought maybe, just maybe, they could give me a better price on the Blackberry internet plan. I've heard of old plans that were internet only for 14.99 and I wouldn't use email that much so this wouldve been great for me.

I've been with Tmo for 6+ years and had to extend my contract recently for buying the 8900. I was looking to get the plan for $5 less, or get unlimited texting at the 24.99 price.

When I called retentions, they told me there is nothing they can do to adjust the price and 24.99 was the lowest price he could offer for the Berry plan. Is this true? If I were OOC would it be different? Am I saying the wrong things?

Thanks in advance for advice.

They can adjust it. Just keep calling till you get a good retentions rep.

Call and see if another rep will do it. If not, I'd say check with a different tmo store, OR, call and ask for a manager and discuss it.

When I had VoiceStream A-G-E-S ago, and wanted my plan grandfathered in, they wouldn't do it, but I called and another rep said yeah-sure-you-betcha. It's all who you talk to.

There is no such plan as unlimited BIS and messaging for $24.99. AFAIK the best retention offer is the unlimited data and email for $20 per month.

I really don't know, I called Wed to upgrade and was offered one month free and $20 per month after that. It doesn't include 400 messages like the $24.99 plan does btw.

I get the unlimited blackberry data plan for one of my phones for 19.99 and then I get unlimited messaging for both phones for 19.99 total.. so that is like 10 a phone.. I only have the blackberry service on one of them but they offered to honor my 19.99 price on the other if I wanted to include it on that one as well..
