Default Question re: TMo BB Curve 8320

I got the new Sunset Curve for TMo the other day. Comes loaded with OS 4.2.2.180. It is a new phone for me cause I lost the last Curve I had.

Anyway, I have read and read lots of posts on Curve OS. What I don't get is when are we going to get an *official* upgrade of the OS beyond 4.2. My friend has VZW 8330 Curve which came with 4.3 and she can see youtube. Anything beyond 4.2 is OK. I don't have to have 4.5 or 4.6 (although that would be nice). I know there are betas out there, but I tried that once and had to downgrade back to 4.2 cause of problems. Any "roadmap" about when this may occur? Also, if 8220 and Javelin come with 4.5 and 4.6+, is TMo just gonna leave us 8320'ers out to dry with no new OS??

Do a search on OS 4.5, there is a ton of information on this subject. Good luck

It's up to each carrier to officially release 4.5 to their subscribers. I wouldn't say they will leave you out to dry when the Javelin arrives, but 4.5 will come.

I talked to BB support @ T Mo on Tuesday and they're expecting 4.5 soon (Sept - Oct). I told him I already did it and we laughed about it.
