A lot of times it depends on who you talk to believe it or not! Some CSR's are more than willing to work with you, some... not so much.

It sure wouldn't hurt to call and give it a try. I don't see why they would have a problem with it, unless you signed a contract and got a phone or special because you promised to keep this plan for 1 to 2 years.

Good Luck!

Just a little FYI, careful on downgrading rate plans. Some indirect dealers require you to maintain a certain threshold or you will get charged a fee. If you purchased from T-Mobile directly, this is not an issue but check with your dealer for details to avoid any fees.

They have always let me change to suit my needs... I plan to change, as well. Got the 8900 with UMA as well as the free myfaves... we went from using 2000 minutes a month with 5 lines down to 400 a month!!!!! I can cut my bill down alot by lowering my minute plan.

Default no problems

I have not had a problem my Hubby and I where looking at ways to save some omoney on our bill so I called CS and we talked about everythig on the bill got rid of stuff that was not use and decided to go down on our mins. No problems then two week later we were almost at our limit and I called back and the CS switched my plan back to the one before and back dated it so i would not be charged for going over my mins.
