Question How to edit BB POP/SMTP settings for Outlook

My carrier (AT&T Yahoo!) recently said I had to change the POP & SMTP settings in my Outlook account and other email applications. I changed the settings in Outlook. I logged into the BB.com sight and accessed my account, but there is no advanced settings that allow me to edit my account.

I'm now only receiving intermittant e-mails on my BB, but not sure if the POP & SMTP settings are the reason. My whole system went down a couple days ago and I'm rebuilding everything (including my Outlook address book. I also installed Norton 360 during the rebuild.

In summary, (1) how do I edit my BB e-mail settings?; (2) could Norton be effecting the receipt of my emails?

Thanks for any insight...

I am not sure I was always under the impression that all you had to do was go to the email setup in the applications and add your email address and password. I have 6 accounts on my Curve including Outlook and it woked fine.

Why did they say you had to change them?

Default Reason for POP/SMTP changes

They said it was necessary to change the settings "to help us ensure the security of your email ... these changes will affect members who send or receive email from a desktop or mobile client program, such as Microsoft Outlook ... "
