Does anyone know why the 8330 doesn't include wifi? Seems that it would be a no brainer to include it.

Because no RIM product ending with "30" (8830, 8330, 8130) has come with WiFi. CDMA carriers get the GPS. Only BBs ending with "20" get WiFi. =/

Just curious....is it against some BB law to include both GPS and WiFi in the same device

Yes. Wifi software support takes up a lot of space, GPS is even worse because it wants to buffer maps into memory.
If you were to include both, free memory would start at 0.

My free memory started at 16 MB with wi-fi and GPS when it came out of the box. I know run 32MB after all the adjustments I made.

i think the reason the 8820 has wifi and GPS is because it has no camera, so it balances out.
None of the devices that have a camera have both, so thats my guess.
