Default 2 B.B. on a Mac Computer... I need some Help :)

Ok so I am basically living with my boyfriend now and I need to sync his bb with my mac computer. Now I need to know if it that is possible for mac on as i am using the program entourage. I think its possible but its a little tricky. I can't quite get the bugs out so if any advice would be helpful. Basically I a have set up two seperate accounts but unfortunatly my mac user address book also gets duplicated on his account in entourage. I need know if i can seperate my adress book from his address book so i can make two different B.B. on my laptop.

Is this possible if so can you tell or show me how.

Thank you

I just purchased my first BB (an 8830) this past Thurs., and I'm also a Mac user. The only software that I've found so far is PocketMac which you can download for free at Blackberry's website, just search "Pocketmac" in the search bar and the 3rd result will be "Blackberry-BlackBerry for Mac". This will allow you to sync everything, Address Book, iCal, Entourage, etc. Unfortunately, it does not allow you to sync with iPhoto or any media programs; or at least I haven't figured out how to do so.

Check it out, and if you figure out how to sync media, please let me know. Thanks.

I do not use entourage so I don't know what its limitations there are. Have you tried setting your BF up as a separate user on your mac so there would be totally separate files? You would have to create log ins and passwords for the two of you but that way he should have his own install of entourage and everything including pocket mac - I think. I am pretty new to a Mac so I am not positive about any of this.
Good luck.
Katie

Robstyle21-
To answer your question about syncing media - I have not done that but I have transferred music files from my mac to the BB and then played them so it accomplishes the same objective
When I connect my bb to the Mac I answer yes to the question about enabling mass media storage. Then a disk called NoName appears in finder - if you click on it you can see all the files on the BB including on the sd card. Then you simply drag the songs or photos (or documents) to the appropriate folders and voila - it's that easy. Then when you click on media on the BB they will appear and you can play them.

Hope this works for you

Default I sync to BBs....

Kayo,

I sync two BBs on a MacBook Pro. PocketMac allows you to select wether or not you want to sync Entourage Contacts with the device. You could select "Yes" for yours and "No" for your BF's BB. If you categorize your contacts, you could allow him to only sync certain contact categories (i.e. personal, family, friends, work) under the "Advanced Preferences" tab. Hope this helps.

For some reason when I connect my BB to my Mac it does not appear at all, is there a setting that needs to be changed to enable it for disk use?
