Smile Unlocked Blackberry only imported a very old address book.

Hi! My aunt gave me her blackberry to use since my cell phone died, but when the lady at the store put in my sim card, it only imported a very old address book, over a year and a half old. Does anyone know where my currents contacts went and if I can get them back?

Thank you!

I can import them by hand but that will take forever. I don't understand why they weren't on my sim card or why the blackberry didn't get them.

You can try going into the address book, use the menu key and select SIM Phone Book and see if they are there.

If not, are you sure on your old phone that you had the contacts stored on the SIM and not in the phones memory?

That's the only thing I can think of that would explain them not being there.
