Welcome to CB !!

The first thing I would do, prior to adding any apps. / games is optimize the memory. It's simple and straightforward the link how-to is in my sig. line.

The stock OS at&t has installed (4.2.xxx) leaves little free file space.
Themes, applications, games, etc. will eat this up pronto.

I would read about increasing the free file space as a first To-Do.

If your 8310 is stock at&t, you may want to upgrade to O.S 4.5 eventually.

I see you are from MI. I lived in Bay Port and Coldwater for many years

Updated to 4.5, I have a ton of apps on it, Bphone theme, favourite background, basically my Berry has been modified to fit me perfectly!

first of all with me say welcome to crackberry. i have had my blackberry 8310 for about a month now and i found these are forums to be very usefull.

The first thing i did was update my operating system to version 4.5. this gives you voice note capabilities as well as a video camera. Next i used the application called crack mem to delete some of the pre-installed applications that were eating up my memory. i installed a 4 gigabyte micro sd card and then found the following applications:

Google maps
Nav4All
Vlingo
Mobipocket reader
Radio companion
Grid magic (excel app)
Documents2go
AIM
Tellme
Tv guide
Soft reset

I've played with and deleted a few others. These are the ones I really use. Good luck with your new addiction!

I also got OS 4.5. Opera Mini is a must. I'm a news junkie so i get news alerts from Foxnews and I have CNN as a quick link. I also have direct links to google, gmail, ESPN, weatherbug, crackberry (Of course), Facebook, myspace, Discovery Channel and my local news. You can find any of these by googling the name of what you want followed by "for blackberry" (i.e. espn for blackberry). Enjoy!

OMG I have tweaked my Berry so much, where do I begin? Lol! I've changed the housing, and added more games and apps than should be allowed.

Fave aps: Google Maps, Y Weather, Yahoo! Messenger, Facebook, MySpace, PeekaWho, CrackBerry Launcher, Flickr, MobileCheckbook (from the CrackBerry store) and BerryTunes.

Fave games: Guitar Hero Mobile, Critter Crunch, Bookworm and Magnetic Joe.

Your Berry is an amazing thing! Go nuts!

Wait, WTF?! Are you serious? Does it pick up on radar guns? How exactly does this work and what is your opinion on it?
