In case you don't know what this is, it is the dome cover that goes over the tiny microswitch under your trackball assembly. Without this dome cover, your trackball will not have the "click" response.
Omg thank you so much! I found the same part a while back on a website but it was 30 bucks for one! This is sure a much better deal and you get 5! Kudos for this find

If I recall correctly from your posts, you seem to repair a few BB's.

I've only "played" with the Pearls and Curves for the past 6 month out of necessity because our kid's & friends don't take care of them. Now I do it as a hobby and it's become enjoyable sharing things on this forum - just trying to give back since I've gained so much here.
I ordered this Monday, supposedly they shipped it out Tuesday. (Coming from Hong Kong).
Shipping was zero.
Total bill for a package of 5 pieces was $1.50(USD)
My BB is still new, but I figure for that price I'll throw them in a drawer till I need them!
Does anyone have the instructions? Got them today but I did not see you could add instructions to the order for free. If anyone has them and can attach a pdf to a post in this forum it would be much appreciated.
My Blackberry seems to think that Im pressing the trackball all the time therefore keeps on sending blank texts!
If i replace the trackball dome, would this fi my problem?
Thanks
John
It sounds more like moisture/water damage causing your BB to think you are pressing the trackball or enter key when you are not.
This part fixes the problem where you press the trackball and the ball doesn't spring back up. This is just a springy piece of copper. The actual switch is under this part, and is on the main circuitboard.

Sorry, didn't see your post. Did you figure it out? I believe you just take the old one off by peeling it up, like a piece of tape, then stick the new one on.
