Default AT&T Smart Card - NEWBIE needs HELP!

I just received my new Blackberry Curve 8310, with a smart card from AT&T. The card came on a plastic card about the size of a credit card, with a small area to be removed. I removed the area, but it doesn't fit into the blackberry with the plastic. Anyone know how to get the card into the blackberry, because I am stumped, and there are limited instructions that came with it. Thank you!

You take the lil small chip and match it with the picture thats inside your phone. You have to unlock the plate and slide it in ther. Make sure that the gold is facing inside of the phone and the cut off piece is one the top...

Default lil small chip's the problem

But the lil small chip is attached to the little piece of plastic, and the plastic doesn't fit into the hinged slot. Is the lil small chip supposed to come off the plastic somehow?

there are 2 small hinges underneath the battery cover. one larger one for the sim card, and another smaller one for the memory card. make sure to put it on the larger one on the bottom. i've got an extra curve, i just took a pic and emailed it to myself, i'll post it in just a sec.

Default Thanks Cobra!

Thank you Cobra! The photo helped! I was trying to put it into the micro SD slot because the drawing that I got with the phone showed that it should have gone into the 1st slot, not the 2nd one down. The photo really helped!

lol, no problem. i had a heck of a time getting the memory card in at first. it wasnt until i figured out that you have to put the card on the metal hinge, then lock it down that it worked! have fun!
