One question the new curve coming out Oct 16th is GPS enabled but is it built in or do you need a external GPS receiver?

Washington, DC has them in at least these two locations:

1630 Conneticut Ave., NW between Q and R (Dupont Circle metro stop on the red line). That store has both color 8310's.

1730 Pennsylvania Ave., NW. This store only has the red 8310's.

Every local AT&T store (Northern California) I've called today has the red in stock. I'm trying to figure out the status of my Amazon order, which saves me $100.

I got my Titanium in Dearborn, Michigan. The store on Michigan Avenue has red only; the store in Telegraph had both colors.

Default East Hanover, NJ

I am a new Blackberry owner after about 10 years with Palm PDAs. I just picked up a Titanium 8310 on Rt 10 in East Hanover, NJ after buying the 8300 3 weeks ago. They had both colors. GPS works great but I have two questions:

1) The 8310 seems to be using more internal memory than the 8300 I returned. It seems to be using about 9-10 more kb than the 8300 and this is without any email or messages loaded. Is this just due to the additional memory required by the GPS? Any suggestions to reclaim memory? I already deleted the BB sample video.

2) I want WiFi!!! Any ideas why at&t isn't releasing the 8320 or including WiFi?

Thanks...jeff

RIM had 'pappa bear' in the works previously which was a 83xx Curve loaded to the gills with gps AND wi-fi AND a camera. But they ran into a small problem (literally) with the packaging and couldn't cram all the above into the 83xx case. Or that's the story from BGR. So, they give you a choice of wi or GPS with the 8310 and 8320 respectively. If VZW would ever get off their arse and give us the 8330(? - would be logical given previous naming conventions) CDMA Curve without crippled GPS, then you'd have EVDO speed, a camera, GPS and the excellent form factor. Yeah, I know. Dream on. Which is why I'm dumping VZW and moving to AT&T...........

oh, meant to ask how AT&T service is now up there? Used to live in Bergen County (Hillsdale) and for some reason, AT&T just sucked there all the way up past the Thruway and into the City. The main reason I'm on VZW simply because in 2004, they were the only carrier worth a damn that I could find.
