please help. need roaming only option

I live in the boonies and need the roaming only option. I have the os 4.5.0.131 and my bb came with that. I have read a lot of forums and I am computer literate but need someone to, at some point walk me through it. I realize I may have to roll back to 4.3 os and if that's the only way to get the roaming only feature then so be it. Someone please help. My husband is about to make his bb a boat anchore.
Are ther any hybrids that would include this? Also is there any other way to boost signal strength? Have tried airave but have satelite internet and it doesn't work with that. Desperate...

I don't know any way to force roaming only. You could try another carrier. See what the locals use, and try that. A lot of times in really rural areas there's a local cell company with a few towers that provides really good coverage in just that locale, and roaming everywhere else.
