For install instruction to load any carrier 8330 OS on your BB:
1. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
2. Back up your 3rd party apps. Instructions here--> http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/
3. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
4. Download desired OS to your PC
5. Install/run OS to PC
6. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
7. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
8. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.
I'm having the same problem too and I currently have .131. I guess this so called update is just the same build. I'm gonna try a complete wipe and see what happens, although i've never done it before
How did you get it to update from the leaked version? It's recognizing the leaked one as the official one and says "No software update is required". Sounds like there's no difference between the two. It's the same exact version #. Can anyone confirm? Cody, 1 2?

Its reading Sprint beta 4.5-131 vendor file , Do JL Commander wipe and install official
Is there any way to tell the difference in About menu that it's the official .131? Because I just did a JL Cmder Wipe and installed the .188 package and it still says .131
Hello fellow Crackberry users and abusers! Long time reader and I finally decided to register today. Can anyone confirm that the backlight lag isn't there? I'm really interested in updating my VZW Curve to this OS. The 4.5.0.77 speaker blast is really annoying! I hope the VZW will also release this 4.5.0.131 OS for us Verizon users soon!
