From carrier Indosat Languages include English and East Asian

Applications: 4.5.0.55
Software Platform: 2.7.0.68
File name: 8320EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel81_PL2.7.0.68_A4.5.0.55_I ndosat.exe
File size: 73MB
Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.

For install instruction to load any carrier 8320 OS on your BB:

1. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
2. Back up your 3rd party apps. Instructions here--> http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/
3. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
4. Download desired OS to your PC
5. Install/run OS to PC
6. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
7. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
8. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

***Steps 2 is optional but recommended

Nice find Garz. I think .55 was an improvement over .52 -- more than .69 from .55

We had .55 posted for most GSM devices but finally for the 8320.

can someone plz let me know if this is worth updating too?? I am happy with .55 and dont want to upgrade if there is no real benefit. thx!

It would have fixed a bug or two. I'm not sure what but not much difference from .52

.55 had lots of lag for me. This seems to have cleared the majority of that up.

However, The ring tone volume and such.... is only about half as loud as before the upgrade!?! Help!! Whats the solution??

I was on the third step (something about ROM) then after it reset my phone, i got this error.......

Unspecified error encountered [A:0x00000001]

any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone who has tried this version tell me if they are able to use UMA and Bluetooth at the same time w/o issue? .52 works fine, but I found when I tried .69 (I think it was) it was impossible to use UMA and Bluetooth at the same time.
