BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.174 (EastAsia)
Contains English; from IndoSat
This will load to any carrier's 8310.

Package Version: 4.5.0.174
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.5.0.124
Software Platform: 2.7.0.92
File name: 8310EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel174_PL2.7.0.92_A4.5.0.124 _Indosat.exe
File size: 86.73MB

https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...B53786A2C5FA09

Instructions for installing on ANY carrier's 8310:

For install instruction to load any carrier 8310 OS on your BB:

1. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
2. Back up your 3rd party apps. Instructions here--> http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/
3. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
4. Download desired OS to your PC
5. Install/run OS to PC
6. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader if the OS is not from your carrier.
7. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
8. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

***Steps 2 is optional but recommended***

****File Free/OS Memory Leak OS Version Report****

**** Installing OTA(JAD/JAR) Through Your DM ****

***BlackBerry Micro SD card quick guide. ***

***APN/TCP Settings Web Site***

*****Will keep each OS results posted as i run the OS, also i welcome others to report their results/experience(s)*****

The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the OS to the device.

reporting trouble free upgrade here, from .110. slightly more free memory otherwise seems the same response wise. had to reinstall some third party apps like poynt, reset password keeper's password and so forth. nothing really to complain about. will post any more concerns as found or benefits

okay memory leaks fixed, faster reboot from battery pulls

I had downloaded and installed the Beta of .124 which is working well for me!
Should I uninstall the Beta and reinstall this version?
