Hi guys! I"m brand new to BB and was wondering if there is a way to turn off the shutter sound. I HATE it. Thanks for any info!

Not sure if there are any apps available to do so, but I'm pretty sure its not possible.

    I might be wrong though.

You can buy a 3rd party app called BerryAnnoying thru the Crackberry Store to suppress the shutter sound. Here is the link: http://software.crackberry.com/produ...=BerryAnnoying

Same deal for the pearl. Aside from changing the profile to silent, or maybe a third party app, you can't turn it off. I never even thought of that either, until just now. I'm upset that I can't turn off my shutter sound.

I never thought of it either until you brought it up. I could on my Treo. Although, the shutter sound saved me from taking more than 2 extreme close ups of my belt while driving my buddy's car the other day

The program works but using the trial it takes almost a full minute before the camera is ready to use after you launch the program
    Good luck
